This feeder bellows type 2 regulates the wind supply of the organ at an air output of 7.5 m³/min. The frame structure in 3-ply spruce is cut at 45 degrees at the corners and joined with biscuits; the upper part of the box carries solid edge strips. The frame is of solid spruce with vertical grain, the wood joint is tenoned. Floor and lid are made of 3-ply spruce and blockboard respectively, the corners sealed with textile or leather. The bellows scissors are of flat iron and tube in a black finish, the leathering is done with vegetable-tanned sheepskin, and the surface is finely sanded and left natural. On request the feeder bellows is also available with a solid-wood crate (own tenon or dovetailed).
Manufacture takes place in POM’s workshop in Pécs – at home in organ building for more than 30 years, with an eye for detail and craftsmanlike precision.
